• Room photos — images you upload for room analysis, redesigns, roasts, saved spaces, and product recommendations.
• Account information — email address, display name, and handle.
• Room dimensions — measurements derived from photo analysis or entered manually.
• Purchase history — items purchased through Dorea product links.
• Home Passport data — saved rooms, style preferences, and design history.

How We Handle Room Photos

Room photos are treated as personally identifiable information (PII). We take the following measures:

• Photos are stored in private, encrypted storage and are never publicly accessible.
• Photos are not used to train machine learning models.
• Photos are processed solely to provide room analysis, scoring, and product recommendations.
• You can request deletion of all photos at any time.

Shared Content

• Shared cards are public only when you choose to share them. By default, uploaded room photos are private.
• If you share a roast, battle, or before/after card, the shared asset may include the image, score, caption, and Dorea watermark depending on the format you choose.

AI Infrastructure

We may use trusted AI infrastructure providers to process room photos solely to provide Dorea features. These providers are contractually limited from using your content to train their models where applicable.

How We Use Your Information

• Room analysis — generating room feedback, roasts, redesigns, saved directions, and product recommendations.
• Product recommendations — matching furniture and decor to your room dimensions, style, and budget.
• Home Passport — saving your room data for personalized, evolving recommendations.
• Service improvement — aggregated, anonymized analytics to improve scoring accuracy.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Stripe — payment processing. Stripe’s privacy policy governs payment data.
• Clerk — authentication and account management.
• Affiliate networks — product links may route through affiliate partners. Dorea earns commission on purchases made through product links.
• Analytics — anonymized usage analytics to improve the service.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data — including room photos, Home Passport data, and purchase history — at any time by emailing privacy@dorea.ai. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

Cookies

We use cookies for authentication, preferences, and analytics. Essential cookies are required for the service to function. Analytics cookies help us understand usage patterns and can be disabled in your browser settings.

Children’s Privacy

Dorea is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
