These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Dorea (“we,” “us,” or “our”) at dorea.ai. By using our service, you agree to these Terms.

Service Description

Dorea provides room upload, AI-assisted room feedback, redesign inspiration, saved spaces, product recommendations, social sharing features, and optional designer services.

User Accounts and Handles

Some features require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Your handle is unique and visible in shared content (roasts, battles). You may not impersonate others or use misleading handles.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload inappropriate, illegal, or non-room photos.
• Harass, bully, or abuse other users in Room Battles or comments.
• Use the service to infringe on intellectual property rights.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse our AI systems.
• Create multiple accounts to manipulate scores or battles.

AI Disclaimer

Dorea provides AI-generated suggestions. Room measurements are estimates based on photo analysis (typically accurate to ±15%). Always verify dimensions before purchasing furniture. Dorea may display product trust signals based on available information. These signals are informational and not guarantees. AI-generated design recommendations are suggestions, not guarantees of satisfaction.

Redesign images are inspirational visualizations. They may not represent exact physical scale, lighting, materials, or product appearance. Products are visually similar unless marked Exact Match.

Designer Marketplace

Dorea facilitates connections between users and verified designers. Designers are independent professionals, not Dorea employees. We verify credentials and collect reviews, but we are not responsible for the quality of individual designer work. Disputes between users and designers should be raised through our support channel.

Affiliate Disclosure

Dorea earns commission on purchases made through product links. Product recommendations may consider room context, style match, available dimensions, reviews, retailer information, price, availability, and other product signals. Affiliate commission does not determine whether a product is marked as an Exact Match or visual match.

Refund Policy for Designer Services

Paid designer critiques and redesigns are eligible for a refund within 7 days if the designer has not yet delivered their review. Once a design is delivered, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis through our support team. Product purchases are subject to each retailer’s individual return policy.

DIY and Remodeling Safety

Structural, electrical, plumbing, gas, and permit-dependent work should be reviewed by a licensed professional. Dorea provides design suggestions and product recommendations only. We do not provide engineering, architectural, or construction advice. Always consult qualified professionals before undertaking renovations.

Limitation of Liability

Dorea is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to: purchases made based on recommendations, design decisions based on AI suggestions, or reliance on estimated room measurements. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months.

Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your room photos. By uploading content, you grant Dorea a limited license to process and analyze it for the purpose of providing our services. Dorea’s scoring algorithms, Trust Score framework, and design tools are our intellectual property.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on our platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
